The college plans to demolish the two existing Assam Type Buildings and construct a multi-storey RCC Building to enhance the beauty of the academic campus and accommodate class-rooms, Aptech Computer Education Centre, rooms required for running self-financing and job-oriented courses, IGNOU Study Centre, Internet Corner, Internal Quality Assurance Cell Office etc. The college proposes to introduce the following self-financing and job-oriented courses in future. a) Business Spoken English. b) e-Commerce. c) International Business. d) Foreign Exchange Management. e) Insurance. f) Secretarial Practice. a) The Construction of a Students’ Day Home accomodating almost all the facilities for the students is near Completion. The college plans to provide facilities for indoor games within the Home. b) The college proposes to extend the Boy’s Hostel now on the verge of completion for accomodating more boarders. c) The college plans to build a Girls’ Hostel for providing accomodation to girls coming from far-flung areas to study in the college. d) The college plans to construct an Auditorium and an Open Air Theatre Platform on the western side of the academic campus. e) The college has created a Cricket Pitch and a Football and Hockey playground at its SPORTS COMPLEX at Chukulibhoria in Lakhimpur town. f) The College proposes to equip and upgrade the College library through INFLIBNET for the students. The college proposes to construct Staff quarters at its sports complex at Chukulibhoria in Lakhimpur town. The college offer a Certificate course in Computer on self financing basis in collaboration with APTECH Computer Education and the Institute of Computer Accountents from the year 2003. A proposal has been submitted to the U.G.C. for introduction of Career Oriented Courses in Commerce and Multi Storeyed Girls’ Hostel.
